Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of ramsynapse.com.
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of ramsynapse.com and any pages, tools, resources, or accounts made available through it (together, the “Site”). By visiting the Site, creating an account, or submitting information through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” refers to both you and that organisation.
What the service is
The Site is the marketing and information site for RAMSynapse, the connected RAMS engineering platform. It presents the platform’s modules and capabilities, publishes engineering articles and reference material, and provides ways to contact us.
From time to time we may also offer product demonstrations, downloadable resources, interactive tools, or user accounts through the Site. We may add, change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice, and we are not obliged to keep any particular feature available.
The product is licensed separately
These Terms cover the Site only. The RAMSynapse platform itself — the software our customers install and operate — is licensed separately under a written customer agreement between RAMSynapse and each customer. Nothing on the Site grants you a licence to the RAMSynapse platform.
Content on the Site describing the platform — including module descriptions, capability statements, integration lists, screenshots, and roadmap indications — is informational. It does not form part of any product specification, does not create a product warranty, and does not amend any customer agreement. Where the Site and a signed customer agreement differ, the customer agreement governs your use of the product.
Accounts
Where the Site offers accounts, you agree to provide accurate and current information when registering and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at feedback@ramsynapse.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these Terms, that are abusive towards the Site or other users, or that we reasonably believe were created with false information.
Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Site at rates or in ways that place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or circumvent access controls;
- probe, scan, or attack the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data, or interfere with the Site’s operation (including denial-of-service attacks);
- submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content through forms, feedback channels, or any other feature of the Site, including malware or code intended to disrupt;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or imply an endorsement by RAMSynapse that does not exist.
We may restrict or block access to the Site for anyone who breaches this section, in addition to any other remedies available to us.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, graphics, illustrations, page designs, and the RAMSynapse name, logo, and the Synapse Ring mark — belong to RAMSynapse and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Site’s content for your own informational purposes. Any other use — including reproduction, redistribution, or creation of derivative works — requires our prior written permission.
Third-party product names that appear on the Site — including SAP, Oracle, IFS, Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, IBM DOORS, Codebeamer, Jama, IHS Markit, SiliconExpert, and others — are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to identify systems the RAMSynapse platform can interoperate with. No affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners is implied.
Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the Site or the RAMSynapse platform through the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any purpose, including improving our products and services, without any obligation or compensation to you. Do not submit feedback that is confidential or that you do not have the right to share.
Third-party links
The Site may link to websites and resources operated by third parties, such as standards bodies, publications, or partner tools. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. A link from the Site does not imply our endorsement. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the Site — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
Engineering content published on the Site — articles, best practices, examples, and reference material on reliability, risk, safety, and maintainability topics — is provided for general information only. It is not certification advice, compliance advice, or a substitute for your own engineering judgement. Always verify any approach against the governing standards, regulations, and contractual requirements of your own programme.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RAMSynapse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Liability for the RAMSynapse platform itself, where licensed, is addressed exclusively in the applicable customer agreement.
Changes to the Site and these terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements to how we work. When we change these Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the Site.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction to resolve such disputes. If mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence grant you additional rights, those rights are unaffected.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the greatest extent permitted, or severed if it cannot be applied, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
